Introduction
The Diamond League Championship Rulebook [DLC] lists and details the rules and regulations pertaining to the DLC and all DLC ran events.
These rules are to provide a stable competitive environment as well as to maintain competitive integrity within the community.
Participation in any Diamond League Championship (DLC) event predicates adherence to the rules contained herein.
Player Eligibility
2.1. General Eligibility
Every player that plans to play in any of the Diamond League Championship events must be ranked Diamond 1 or below in their respective region on their main account in the previous 1 ladder season and current DLC season.
The DLC team is allowed to confirm your eligibility at any time. Refusal to do so may result in punishment from the DLC as they see fit.
The DLC team is allowed to request any number of games per week on a case-by-case basis.
Players must have filled out the DLC One-Time Registration Form.
Players must also be part of the DLC discord.
2.2. Game Eligibility
To prevent sandbagging and smurfing, players must have a minimum of 300 Ranked games completed on the bnet account the player wishes to be vetted against.
Players must also have a minimum of 40 ranked games in the previous or current ladder season as defined during each DLC season to be eligible to score points for that season's rankings.
2.3. Current MMR of a player during a DLC season
Players who go over 4400 MMR during the current DLC season are no longer able to play in the DLC finals for that season and will not receive an invite to the final event.
If you achieve 4400 MMR during the DLC finals then you will be removed from the bracket unfortunately as you will have exceeded the limit of the DLC and promote yourself from the DLC for that season's finals.
Players who have reached Masters or above with any race are not allowed to offrace in any DLC Partnered event (i.e. you will not score any points.)
Master league is defined by the current master league 3 MMR in each region.
If you achieve Master league during the DLC season you may only score points in events that you were eligible at the time of sign up.
Points
3.1. DLC Points explained
All DLC Partnered events score points so long as there are at least 4 active players in the event.
If you notice an event has not been added to the points please notify a member of the DLC admin team on discord.
You must have the number of ladder games as denoted within game eligibility in order to unlock your points.
You must also be registered with the DLC, please contact Vales on discord if you have any questions.
Arranging games between players
4.1. Scheduling
All game communications must take place on the DLC discord chat for that stage of a DLC tournament. Anything outside of this may be disregarded.
It is suggested to contact your opponent as soon as possible through the appropriate DLC channel to make walk over decisions easy for the DLC team.
When suggesting times to play state times, dates, times and time zones. Not I can play in 1 hour messages these will be disregarded.
4.2. Scheduled Events Conditions
If a player fails to show up to a scheduled match, the match must be rescheduled as soon as possible.
If a match has not been scheduled within the last 48-hours before the deadline of the tournament stage then the most active player will receive a walk over win over their opponent.
If a player does not make an effort to schedule a match, the match will result in a walkover.
If both players do not attempt to schedule a match, then a coin toss will determine the winner of the match and both players will receive a “No-Show” point.
Extensions for matches will only be given at the discretion of the DLC Admin Team.
4.3. The finals draw and your race in the DLC finals
If you play multiple races please advise the DLC before the start of a DLC finals which race you wish to play otherwise we will use your highest MMR’d race or registered race as your race for the finals depending on which we believe is your main race.
Determined normally as the most active race you play.
The current most recent ladder season ladder maps will be used for the event Top 32 players in the DLC rankings are invited to the DLC finals
Group Stage 1 drawn by Vales 8 groups of 4 - top 2 players from each group advance
Group stage 2 live picks by players as below - top 2 players from each group advance
Play offs as below

4.4. “No-Show” Points
“No-Show” Points are points that accumulate throughout a season if players continuously do not show for an event.
Players will not receive “No-Show” Points if they have a sufficient reason for missing a match/event or let the DLC team know before-hand that they will not be able to participate in the match/event.
Receiving 3 “No-Show” Points in a single season will result in a disqualification for the following season.
4.5. General In-Game Rules
Each game must be set up using the “Custom Game” feature in-game. The following settings are to be in place:
The correct map for the match
The correct server for the match

“B” is the map pick from the player with lower MMR.
“C” is the remaining map once all maps have been selected.
The in-game channel for a series is “/join DLC” in all regions.
Any of the “in game rules” point #.1.2 rules are allowed to be modified for a match if all parties agree to give balance to both players.

If a player is experiencing connection issues within the first 60 seconds of the game, the game is to be restarted from the beginning.
If a player is experiencing connection issues beyond the first 60 seconds of the game, the game is to be continued through the in-game replay feature.
Resume from replay is to be from one second or as close as possible from the point of disconnect.
If a server connection issue is to occur and cause both players and/or casterse to experience connection issues, then the game is to be postponed/rescheduled.
